Small shapes, space to breathe

Original imagined studio still life: botanical arrangement on a pale table

A small collection of shapes, made slowly. A stem, a fold, a vessel. Looking closely gives simple things room to change.

This imagined studio collects material studies rather than finished objects. Its drawings are about light, layers and the space around them.

STILLSEED is an original illustrative notebook. There is no real studio to visit, no food to order, and no products or reservations here.

Eight studies. A pause between them.

Pale stems

Thin branching lines and muted leaves. An original study of botanical rhythm.

An amber vessel

Transparent layers give an invented glass shape its warmth. Not a product.

A material can be familiar and still ask for another look.

About the notebook

These drawings began with ordinary silhouettes. A narrow stem can be a map. A folded sheet can suggest a hill.

Each study changes the scale of something small. The shapes do not depict a specific venue, dish or product. They are invented material illustrations.

The opening arranges pictures in loose depth planes. Moving the pointer changes their position gently. Pause motion keeps them still; your reduced-motion setting does the same.

Every picture can be opened with the keyboard or with the study index below. The full atlas has eight original studies, with two repeated opening planes.

This offline notebook sends nothing anywhere. It has no forms, accounts, storage, bookings or sales.
